Rishi is an advisor to Residual and an expert in forest carbon, nature-based solutions, and climate resilience. He currently serves as Head of Restoration at Terraformation, leading global reforestation and ecosystem restoration programmes. Previously, Rishi was Head of Forest Carbon Ratings at BeZero Carbon and Manager of Technologies for Natural Climate Solutions at Verra. Earlier in his career, he worked with organizations including Conservation International, The Nature Conservancy, and the UN Food and Agriculture Organization. He holds a PhD in Environmental Science from the University of Virginia, an M.S. in Environmental Studies from Yale University, and a B.S. in Ecology from the University of California, Berkeley.
