Mark is Head of Science at Residual, leading scientific diligence and project design across multiple carbon pathways, including biochar, afforestation and reforestation, and orphaned wells. He previously led science teams at oneshot.earth and Cloverly, working on carbon accounting, project evaluation, and scaling high-quality supply. Mark studied Chemistry and Physics at Harvard, completed a Master’s in Earth and Environmental Engineering, and pursued doctoral research in Direct Air Capture at Columbia University.
